VOICES OF ARIZONA 2005

Cristiana Joy Wiley was born in Mexico City to a large prestigious and artistic Mexican American family. In Mexico she experienced a magical childhood with a magnificent family of nine very close first cousins and three siblings. Cristiana's Grandmother is an accomplished artist who's talent, grace, wisdom and beauty influenced Cristiana to become the artist she is today. She also lived in Miami Florida where her parents exposed her to cabaret and dance at a very young age, and enrolled her in the magnet art program. She relocated to Phoenix Arizona at age 12. In high school she took a strong interest in poetry, dance, photography, acting, art and music and began playing drums in an after school rock band. Cristiana graduated from South Mountain High with honors in fine art and literature and was the youngest member to be accepted into the Arizona Watercolor Association winning first place honors. She continued her studies in fine art at the University of Arizona in Tucson, and studied life drawing at the Arizona State University. In Phoenix she's taken on large scale mural and commission work, modeled for well known artists and photographers, explored acting and enjoyed musical success. Cristiana's main focus as an artist is to capture and reveal the human form and its unseen multi-layered beauty. “I seek to find a way to give back what I've received, to influence, inspire, expose and reveal the beauty of this world”. Cristiana is a rare talent on the drums and has been working and performing as a musician for the last 10 years. She has recently left her job in the music industry as an art director for a multi-media company to start her own faux finishing company. Influenced by renaissance archetypes, Cristiana is an artist who expresses herself in a variety of ways. “I have been blessed to have strong female role models in my life, teaching me the courage to follow my dreams and the freedom to discover them. To them I am extremely grateful”.

PRICING GUIDELINES & SPECIFICATIONS

• Murals are priced by size, surface prep, detail, theme, time and supplies needed.

• Faux Finishing can be applied in small areas, or to an entire room. The pricing for faux is normally based on the square footage. Our faux starts at $3 a square foot and goes up from there depending on the type of finish selected, preliminary prep work needed, hours involved, and custom artwork created.

• Architectural items such as niche's, many fireplaces, cabinets, columns, stairs, armoires, mirrors and tables are priced on a per project basis. The considerations being the same as the mural pricing mentioned above.

• We provide free consultations. A fee will be charged to out of town clients. Out of state travel is an option.

• When we show up at your home or business we will bring our portfolio, faux finish sample boards,and our unique design ideas. At the time of the consultation we will work up project ideas and color schemes. Faux Arts provides the client with an estimated start date and time and price estimate.
